Certified in Human Remains Detection, partnered with an experienced CARDA handler in California. Ceri is exceptionally social, athletic, and agile with the best PennHip score (.22/.26) of any Dutch shepherd tested as of January 2009.
We are very proud to report that during August of 2010, Ceri made her first recovery in a very tough landfill environment (see article) Many thanks to Donna for helping Ceri reach her potential as a great HRD recovery dog.

To show off his manliness and keep the affections of his female hiking buddies (aka the harem), Badger performs gravity defying rock climbing skills and also dabbles in Schutzhund ~ a natural! All this and gorgeous too!

We care very much about the future health, happiness, and productivity of all of our pups. We've learned that without the right handler, partner, and environment, the dog cannot succeed. Therefore, matching the right dog with the right person is of the utmost importance. Because we feel such a strong sense of obligation and responsibility to each pup throughout its lifetime, we have set up this website to track and share the accomplishments and activities of all of our pups.
The following passage, says a lot.....
From time to time, people tell me, “lighten up, it’s just a dog," or, "that’s a lot of money for “just a dog.”" They don’t understand the distance traveled, time spent, or costs involved for “just a dog.” Some of my proudest moments have come about with “just a dog.” Many hours have passed with my only company being “just a dog.” And not once have I felt slighted. Some of my saddest moments were brought about by “just a dog.” In those days of darkness, the gentle touch of ‘just a dog’ provided comfort and purpose to overcome the day. If you, too, think it’s “just a dog,” you will probably understand phrases like “just a friend,” “just a sunrise,” or “just a promise.” “Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust, and pure unbridled joy. “Just a dog” brings out the compassion and patience that makes me a better person. Because of “just a dog,” I will rise early, take long walks and look longingly to the future. For me, and folks like me, it’s not “just a dog.” It’s an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past, and the pure joy of the moment. “Just a dog” brings out what is good in me and diverts my thoughts away from myself and the worries of the day. I hope that someday people can understand it’s not "just a dog.” It’s the thing that gives me the humanity and keeps me from being "just a man or woman.” So, the next time you hear the phrase “just a dog,” smile, because they “just don’t understand.”

Certified in Patrol, Tracking, and Explosives (IPWDA and ATF N.O.R.T.) with Broome County Sheriff's Department, New York. Another tracking freak of nature like his brother Ruger and already has a bad guy find in the field!
We are very proud of Aevar and Ruger and also very thankful to Broome County for the great work they have done with them.

Ringsport/Dock Diving
Rekker is a big, strong, balanced boy with plenty of intensity. Rekker got his foundation training in Ringsport and has since transitioned to search work. In April 2011, he certified as a Cadaver Detection K9 with Great Basin under the Tri-State testing standard. For fun, Rekker also dabbles in dock diving competitions and won the 2010 Pro Division National Competition in Las Vegas with a personal best jump of 25'0"!
